Napa Valley Insight Meditation hosts a talk by Buddhist meditation instructor Kathy Cheney.

Kathy Cheney has been a student of insight meditation since 2000.  She has sat many retreats in the US and in England as well as extended periods of self-retreat.  Kathy has been mentored by Gil Fronsdal as a community dharma teacher and completed the Sati Center Chaplaincy training.

Kathy worked for several years as a retreat manager at Spirit Rock and taught meditation in the bay area.  She currently lives in Volcano Hawaii where she will be teaching a weekly meditation class with Spirit Rock Senior Teacher, Mary Grace Orr.
