Mathew Sockolov will give a talk entitled “Wise Engagement with Joy.” Matthew has been teaching meditation in Los Angeles for several years at Against the Stream Buddhist Meditation Society, leading groups at addiction treatment centers, and working one-on-one with people to deepen their personal practice. He practices regularly at Wat Metta Monastery in San Diego with Thanissaro Bhikkhu, and is currently in the Community Dharma Leader training program at Spirit Rock Meditation Center.
