Daylong: Awakening – The Ultimate Relaxation, with Nina Wise
October 17, 2015 @ 10:00 am - 4:00 pm
It is said that the state of enlightenment is the deepest form of relaxation—a return home. During this daylong retreat, we will practice forms of meditation and movement that focus on releasing stress and tension in the mind, heart and body. We will also engage in chanting as a form of invoking well-being and wisdom. Fall is often seen as a time of new beginnings based on reflection. We will practice (if weather permits) in the garden and amidst the vineyards celebrating the abundance of fall.
What to Bring: Please bring a lunch, beverage and appropriate clothing for outside walking meditation.
Suggested Donation: $20 – $60; No one turned away for lack of funds.
All levels of experience welcomed!
